  • OhioCAN supports Harm Reduction aimed to minimize negative health, social and legal impacts associated with drug use, drug policies and drug laws through policies, programs and practices.
  • OhioCAN supports evidence based practices and uses the criteria established by SAMHSA for determining the efficacy of treatments.
  • OhioCAN recognizes the diversity of all individuals and their unwavering right to respect, inclusion, equality and belonging.
  • OhioCAN supports all spiritual belief systems.
  • OhioCAN supports the individual journey and decision of each person.
  • OhioCAN supports that there are many paths to recovery and what works for one person may not work for another.
  • OhioCAN supports that we are all on personal journeys and will not criticize decisions made by others.
